We are delighted to announce that Castellum AI has joined our portfolio following the close of an oversubscribed US$8.5 million Series A round. The round was led by Curql, with participation from FRAMEWORK, BTech Consortium, Spider Capital, Remarkable Ventures, and Cameron Ventures.

Castellum AI is a financial crime compliance platform, offering robust in-house risk data, advanced AML/KYC screening, and modular AI agents. By leveraging these capabilities, Castellum AI enables enterprises and financial institutions to achieve false positive reduction rates that surpass industry benchmarks. Headquartered in New York, Castellum AI was founded by a team with deep domain expertise through Peter Piatetsky (CEO) and Julian Vasilkoski (CTO), and is the go-to back-end data provider for next-generation AML/KYC platforms.
